Our silk scarves are extraordinary handicrafts of Milanese painters made of the highest quality mulberry silk, which guarantees their durability and beauty for many years. Thanks to their modern design and beautiful colors, they suit the tastes of women of all ages. They will add chic and elegance to a more or less formal styling. Each pattern is carefully hand-painted, making each scarf unique and unique.
Painting on silk takes time
Painting on silk requires not only painting skills, but also patience and accuracy. Silk is a delicate material, so you have to be very precise when painting. The dyes used in the painting process are specially developed for painting on silk. All our hand-painted products undergo a thermal fixation and softening process at the final stage of production, thanks to which the dyes permanently penetrate the structure of the silk thread, preventing discoloration during use and washing.
Cultivating Polish tradition
We are proud of cultivating the tradition of painting on silk, which is an unconventional production with exceptionally artistic features. This type of craft, which has its roots in ancient China, has survived centuries and is still practiced by our female painters. Our goal is not only to preserve tradition, but also to create works of art that will please the eye and delight with their uniqueness. We use a variety of painting techniques. This allows us to create subtle, delicate patterns that penetrate deeper into the fabric, giving it a unique look and texture.
The specificity of photos and hand painting
Each of our hand-painted products is unique and different from the original shown in the photo. When ordering, please bear in mind that the color of the scarf delivered may be slightly different from the one shown in the photo. Differences in color may result from the manual painting process. Color perception is also influenced by settings, including: contrast and brightness of the monitor as well as the intensity and color of the light in which we take photos of silk products. However, remember that hand painting and the uniqueness of each product are part of the charm of our products.
How to wash silk scarves?
Washing silk scarves requires gentleness. Here are some tips:
- Hand washing: It is best to wash silk scarves by hand. You can use a mild washing liquid intended for washing delicate fabrics. Avoid creasing and rubbing the scarf too intensely.
- Water temperature: Always remember to wash silk scarves in lukewarm water. Hot water can damage silk.
- Avoid bleach: Bleach and other harsh detergents can damage silk, so it's best to avoid them. Spots: If stains appear on the scarf, try to wipe them gently with a damp, soft cloth or sponge. Never rub stains vigorously as this may damage the fabric. In case of heavy dirt, use a stain remover for children's clothing.
- Drying: After washing, gently squeeze the water out of the scarf, but do not wring it out. To remove excess moisture, you can wrap the scarf in clean towels and press them gently. Then hang the scarf on a drying rack or flat surface to dry naturally. Avoid drying in direct sunlight, which may cause colors to fade.

Model instruction on withdrawal from the contract
Only the Customer who is a Consumer is entitled to a 14-day withdrawal period. According to Art. 22 (1) of the Civil Code, a consumer is a natural person who performs a legal transaction with the entrepreneur not directly related to his business or professional activity.
Exception
Luma Milanówek reserves that the following products purchased at Luma Milanówek are non-returnable:
- dedicated / personalized products, i.e. with the initial / name or other inscription ordered directly on the product / packaging
- personal protective equipment, i.e. protective products, i.e. all kinds of masks, visors, half-visors and protective filters
The right to withdraw from the contract
You have the right to withdraw from this contract within 14 days without giving any reason. The withdrawal period will expire after 14 days from the day on which you acquire, or a third party other than the carrier and indicated by you acquires, physical possession of the goods.
To exercise the right to withdraw from the contract, you must inform us (Luma Milanówek, Jedwabna 1, 05-822 Milanówek, sklep@luma-milanowek.pl, tel. +48 796 216 910) about your decision to withdraw from this contract by an unequivocal statement (for example, a letter sent by post, fax or e-mail). You may use the model withdrawal form, but it is not obligatory. You can also complete and send the withdrawal form or any other unequivocal statement by e-mail on our website HERE. If you use this option, we will send you a confirmation of receipt of the withdrawal information on a durable medium (e.g. by e-mail).
To keep the deadline for withdrawing from the contract, it is sufficient for you to send information regarding the exercise of your right to withdraw from the contract before the deadline to withdraw from the contract.
Consequences of withdrawal from the contract
In the event of withdrawal from this contract, we will reimburse you all payments received from you, including the cost of delivering the goods (except for additional costs resulting from the method of delivery chosen by you other than the cheapest standard delivery method offered by us), immediately, and in any case no later than 14 days from the date on which we were informed about your decision to exercise the right to withdraw from this contract. We will reimburse the payment using the same payment methods that you used in the original transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise; in any event, you will not incur any fees related to this return. We may withhold the reimbursement until we receive the item or until proof of its return is provided to us, depending on which event occurs first.
Please send back or give us the item or Luma Milanówek ul. Jedwabna 1 05-822 Milanówek, immediately, and in any case not later than 14 days from the date on which you informed us of your withdrawal from this contract. The deadline is met if you send back the goods before the period of 14 days has expired. You will have to bear the direct cost of returning the goods. You are only responsible for reducing the value of things resulting from using it in a different way than was necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of things.
The right to withdraw from the contract by the consumer is excluded in the case of:
Agreements where the subject of the service is a non-prefabricated item, manufactured according to the consumer's specifications or serving to satisfy his individual needs.
Agreements where the subject of the service is an item delivered in a sealed package, which cannot be returned after opening the package due to health protection or hygiene reasons, if the packaging has been opened after delivery.
